walking and talking

hi everyone

Morgan is growing up every day. She has a few new words to add to vocabulary now. She says 'moooo' for a cow (with her lips pressed closed) and tries to say 'woof' but it comes out like wooo!!

Crawling so very fast around the house and chases Phoebee in the lounge, but luckily Phoebee is a very fast cat! Her balance and strength improves daily as she pulls herself up on the furniture and walks around hanging on. I am trying to teach her to stand in the middle of the floor without support. Maybe this time next week i'll have news.

we went to the Sherwood Garden Centre a few week ends ago and they had a jumping castle there. Morgan absolutly loved it. she bounced around and when she was tired she just rolled around!

23rd March 2010. Morgan is such a happy soul, she loves to laugh and is always smiling. She throws her head back when she laughs, its so cute. Granny taught her to put up her hands when you ask "how big is Morgan?" Now she does it all the time and waits for you to ask her before putting her arms down! little madam....

few pics to update

Morgie phoos is growing sooooo fast. She is extremly mobile now and pulling herself up on all the furniture and anyone that may in her path!

She has just started to stand my herself (for a few seconds only though) until she realises she isn't holding onto anything. Morgan is singing and talking so much. When we fetch her from granny she likes to sing most of the way home.

I think she will definatly be sporting as she is showing good co-ords and is extremely busy. I assume she'll be walking before her 1st birthday in exactly 2 months time.

We play "how big is Morgan" and she raises her hands! She often looks at Duane and puts her hands up in anticipation of the game! She's so cute

Weekend at Port Alfred

We went to Rugged Rocks at Port Alfred this weekend. The weather was slightly overcast and not the scorching heat we have been experiencing. It was a welcome change.

Morgan had her first visit to the beach on Saturday. She went in the kangaroo pouch with her daddy and she loved it! chatting away all the way to the beach. Went back on Sunday too and then went swimming in the pool. She loved the water and the sand in her toes. We sat her on the sand and just dug her toes in. Loved every second of it.

We then went back to the pool for a swim. The water was freezing but she insisted and splashed around for ages. Duane eventually got into the pool and swam around with her!

Morgan is 9 and half months now and crawling around like crazy. She is a real chatterbox and loves to squeel with delight. She absolutly loves Knox (the dog) and calls him whenever she can. He licks her hands and she laughs so loudly! Duane is teaching her to stand up and she does a handstand on his chest and then pulls herself up to standing! We then laugh and clap our hands and she thinks she is just so clever. Morgan is such a delight xxx

So long.....

wow, where has this year gone? can't believe its been a month since I last wrote to you all. We have been so busy with having Karen and family here. We so enjoyed their time with us. I'll post some pics very soon (if i can work out how to work my photoshop I can put the pics all in one, but we'll see)

baba and teeth

On Thursday night Morgan said "Baba" a few times. Now she loves it! She lies there with her toys and says baba, baba, baaaaba!! its too cute

We've been up a few nights this week with those horrid teeth. Shame on Wednesday night she was in real pain, and i had to cuddle her back to sleep (at 4.30am her screams are real loud). Poor thing. The culprits, 2 bottom front teeth, the one has broken through the skin, the other is still slightly swollen. So hopefully within a few days she will be sporting 2 front teeth.

On the crawling front she is much happier to be on her tummy now than she used to be. She is quite moblie, moving from side to side and tummy crawling around. She seems to be assuming the crawling position more easily now and I'm sure she will be off in a few days time! Oh heavens, then the fun starts......
